04/19/2025  Trail clean-up day at the Northeast Penjajawoc Trail. Location: The end of Kittredge Road in Bangor. Last fall, Bangor Land Trust completed a project to replace sections of old bog bridging on one of our trails. The old materials still remain on site, and we'd like to clean them up. Volunteers will help us remove spikes and chicken wire from the wood planks, then carry the old wood further into the forest (off of the trail) to break down naturally in the environment. The old spikes and chicken wire will be carried out of the preserve to be disposed of. Volunteers should bring water, work gloves, and wear work boots or other protective footwear. (25 Available)
