Trash and litter cleanup in three areas starting (1) along the forest edge of the Orchard Parking Lot then to (2) around Belgrade Detention Pond and end (3) along the Stillwater River bank from North end of field to behind the Fay Hyland Botanical Garden. These locations represent stormwater outfalls for the campus and collect wind and water carried trash that if not picked up, ends up in the Stillwater and Penobscot Rivers. This activity is a public participation and pollution prevention compliance component of the University's MS4 storm water discharge permit.
